Usługa PlayStation Plus oferuje trzy progi abonamentowe, które różnią się od siebie oferowanymi grami. Najwyższy z nich, PS Plus Premium, pozwala na ściągnięcie i zagranie w klasyki z poprzednich konsol Sony, dokładniej to PlayStation, PlayStation 2 i PlayStation Portable.
Gry z tych konsol są emulowane, dzięki czemu oferują nieco lepszą oprawę wizualną. Sony dodało także kilka pożądanych opcji do emulatora — filtrowanie obrazu, opcję przewijania rozgrywki oraz szybkie zapisy i wczytywanie gry w dowolnym momencie.
